The 2024 World Championship will be held in Europe from September 25 through November 2. Pros will first go to Korea to bootcamp and prepare. When players come to a different region for a tournament, Riot gives them special accounts to use which have all skins, champions, and other goodies unlocked. This is one way you can tell an account was created by Riot for a player because it will have all 20 rune pages unlocked, be a fresh account but already level 30. These accounts also start with a Platinum 1 internal MMR which means they automatically start off against players around Platinum 1 or Diamond 4 in their first ranked games.
